Quiet Hands Horsemanship offers quiet, low key training for your horse. Using the resistance-free principles of Clinton Anderson , John Lyons, and Richard Shrake, all horses are trained at their own pace, making each horse happy,stress- free, respectful, and ready to do their job. Training sessions can be at your own place or boarding facility, so no need to trailer your horse. Riding instruction is also available at your facility or mine. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
Happy Spring! We've just about made it thru shedding season!!!..Horses are starting to look dappled , dark and just gorgeous! We recently held our first ever Quiet Hands Horsemanship Family Fun Day!! Even though weather forecast called for rain, we lucked out and had a beautiful day. All the students competed in three classes. Ground Work, round pen class, a class in Equitation and a class in posting.
Ribbons were awarded for each class!
We enjoyed demonstrations by Richard Norton in the use of a Lariat and a Bull Whip. Students and parents got their chance to try both!. We had yummy snacks provided by Emily Norton, and fun lil gift bags provided by instructor/trainer Ellie Crosby.
We're already making plans for our next family fun day show this fall!
See the slideshow for more pictures of the horses and students.
Our location has changed from University Boulevard to Boney Road. Ultra close to all the beautiful trails. The new facility has nice big round pen for training and we were able to transport our beautiful big arena to our new place as well. We're also in the process of building a pond. The horses are not quite sure what to think of that! You can be sure DC and Dulce are on the case investigating. Take a look at our updated photos..I've made a promise to myself and the horses to update my blogs more often as well.
